There are several reasons.
I have been deeply impreed by the academic atmosphere in the college.In my opinion, further study is urgent for me to realize self-value。
I suppose this is the most important factor in my decision.

2010年12月，在学校党委的领导下，学校团委的具体指导下，我组织并参加了甘肃省艾滋病宣传慰问演出，得到了学校的一致好评。通过这些活动的历练，我的为人处世和策划组织能力得到了很大的提升，让我深刻体会到了尽职尽责，团结协调在各项活动中的重要性，也让我意识到了作为一名学生干部“在服务中成长”的理念。
在实践上，我积极参加各种社会实践活动，我曾赴***进行参观见习，通过实地考察和学习，我对***有了进一步的理解，更加深入的掌握了我的专业课程。2010年7月，我在***参加了为期一个月的专业实习，并担任实习小组组长，协助工作人员对***进行采集并实验监测，对***采样及监测，整理相关数据上报上级部门，同时协助***成功举办***，得到了相关领导和学校的
高度评价。通过这些社会实践活动，我不断地走向了社会、融入了社会。
在研究方向上，我更热衷于污水处理和清洁生产。就目前来看，我国资源消耗巨大，资源利用率较低，生产技术水平相对落后，而且同先进国家比较，我国城市污水处理从数量、规模、普及率以及机械化、自动化程度上，还都存在着较大的差距，导致我国出现高消耗、低收入、高排放的局面，随着我国社会经济和城市化进程的发展，水资源紧缺和水环境污染已成为本世纪全球性问题并且日趋严重，水资源短缺和水环境污染造成的水危机也成为我国社会经济发展的重要制约因素，污水处理应实施经济发展相协调发展战略、加强城市和小城镇污水处理管理和采取污泥无害化处置等发展对策，如果能从源头、生产、消费、回收等过程加大资金投入，提高生产技术水平，做好废水的处理及再利用，相信我国水资源紧缺问题会有好转，将清洁生产和污水处理回收利用相结合也是我国目前解决水资源短缺和水环境污染的较好的举措。
大学四年的学习，让我学到了很多知识，也培养了我坚忍不拔的品质和艰苦奋斗的精神，使我在学习和工作中克服各种困难，不断进取。上研究生是我大学以来的一个强烈愿望，我相信我已经具备了一名优秀研究生应有的素质和能力，并且通过大学四年的历练，我深深地体会到大学的学习还远远的不够，并且我现在还深深地喜欢着学习，我很想继续升造，不断提高我的专业技能和知识水平。
