some sentences in the text are difficult to understand, such as i was thinking about how everybody can’t be every thing to each other, but some people can be something to each other, but some people can be something to each other; wherever, whenever, there’s that spark of recognition; they have beautiful homes filled with special handmade things presented to them by villagers in the remote areas they have visited in their extensive travels. teaching procedure:

step 1.warming up (30 mints)

1) work in pairs or groups, and discu the following questions.

? 1.do you have different kinds of friends? how do you claify them?

? 2.what is so great about friends?

? 3.under what circumstances can one lose a friend?

? 4.is it poible to love and hate a friend at the same time? give examples.

2) ask students to skim the text for the 8 kinds of friends mentioned in the text.

today, it’s a pleasure for me to stand here and i’m very pleased to have such an opportunity to share some of my teaching ideas with you.first, let me introduce myself.my name is guo xinzhi, and i am working as an english teacher in yong’an middle school, congtai district of handan.

my topic today is taken from leon 37 of unit 5 in student book 4.the main content of this unit is “go with transportation”, and the topic of leon 37 is “flying donuts”.i have decided to say the leon from six parts:

part one —— analysis of the teaching material one: status and function

1.this unit tells us the improvement of traffic transportation and the related stories.besides learning this, students will also learn some words, phrases and expreions of traffic, and so on.in leon 37, danny will introduce a new type of transportation to us, it is imaginary.

2.to attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing, i will have the students do some exercise about the text.

3.such a topic is very important in this unit.i will lead the students to use their imagination and encourage them to be creative.for example, helping them use english to describe their imaginary transportation.so i think if the students can learn this leon well, it will be helpful to make them learn the rest of this unit.

4.while teaching them, i will also encourage them to say something about what they think the future transportations will be like.in a way, from practising such a topic, it can be helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken language.

two: teaching aims and demands

the teaching aim"s basis is established according to junior school english syllabus" provision.1.knowledge objects

(1) to study the new words “fuel”, “oil” and “coal”.

the teaching keys and difficult points’ basis is established according to leon 37 in the teaching material"s position and function.1.key points:

(1).be able to expre words, phrases and sentences in english.

(2).know about the improvement of transportation and danny’s invention.2.difficult points:

be able to talk about their imaginary future transportation in oral english.

part two —— the teaching methods

1.communicative teaching method; 2.audio-visual teaching method; 3.task-based teaching method; 4.claified teaching method.as we all know: the main instructional aims of learning english in the middle school is to cultivate students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the english language.so in this leon i’ll mainly use “communicative” teaching method, “audio-visual” teaching method and “task-based” teaching method and “claified” teaching method.that is to say, i’ll let the students get a better understanding of the key structures.i’ll give the students some tasks and arrange some kinds of activities, like talking, watching cai, and reading in roles.

in a word, i want to make the students the real masters in cla while the teacher himself acts as director.i also hope to combine the language structures with the language functions and let the students receive some moral education while they are learning the english language.

part three —— studying ways

1.teach the students how to be succeful language learners.

2.make situation and provide meaningful duty, encourage the students to study the text by themselves.

part four —— teaching steps

as this leon plays an important part in the english teaching of this unit, i have decided the following steps to train their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially reading and speaking ability.the entire steps are:

step1 warm-up and lead-in

show the students some pictures of common transportations, like car, bike, train and so on.ask the students: what can you see from the picture? is there another kind of transportation around us?

purpose of my designing: in this part, have the students say more about what they see or what they don’t see.in this way, they will know today’s leon has something to do with their discuion.

step2 presentation

1.learn new words in groups.the new word in this leon are fuel, oil and coal.show them pictures of these things and teach them these new words.

purpose of my designing: after seeing the pictures, the students will know what they are and they can learn them quickly and easily.

2.play the tape recorder.let the students listen and imitate the text.pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.then finish the exercises on the computer.

purpose of my designing: this step is employed to make the students get the general idea of the text.at the same time let the students have a chance to practise their listening and speaking ability.

3.text learning and a quiz

i’ll use cai to present the whole text.i’ll write the key points on the blackboard while they are watching.after watching, i’ll teach them to read the words and sentences on the bb.make sure they can read them well.

after teaching them the whole text, including the meanings of new words, the use of similar expreions and so on.get the students to try and say out some phrases on the screen, like i don’t think so, have fun, a new kind of, on the way to school, and so on.

purpose of my designing: to present the text by cai is much easier for the students to learn and grasp the meanings.cai can provide a real situation with its sound and picture and it makes the relationships between the students better.4.key structures and difficult points learning

first, i will divide the students into three groups and tell them to have a discuion about what they learn in this leon.then encourage them to try to understand the whole text, know what the difficult points are, and so on.at last, i will help them to master them all.for example, i teach the students know the differences between phrases think of, think about and think over.i will show them some sentences and get them to know the use of these phrases.encourage them to do some exercise about these phrases.

purpose of my designing: by practising using these new words and similar phrases, the students will know how to use them in english and master the use of them better. 5.read and say

give the students two or three minutes to prepare, and then get them read the text together in three groups.tell them to read aloud.

then help the students say something about the future transportation or their imaginary transportation.encourage them to say more.

purpose of my designing: by reading the text and saying such things, get the students to practise their reading and speaking ability again.

part five —— summarize and homework ask the students such questions:

what have we learned from this leon? what does danny say about his new kind / type of transportation? do you like his idea? what new phrases have we learned today? do you have enough confidence to finish these exercises? now, let’s try! then show them some exercises and help them to finish them.

at last, tell the students what today’s homework is.while doing this, the teacher can have the boys and girls have a competition to see who are better.

part six —— blackboard designing

(一):导入

3.老师拿出装有水果的袋子让小朋友们猜“老师今天给大家带来了什么?”来激发幼儿对英语活动的兴趣。打一两个水果谜语,提示小朋友老师今天带来的是水果。例如:弯弯的月牙小小的船,小小船儿两头尖。(香蕉)藤挂珍珠一串串,酸甜红紫惹人馋(葡萄)

事项:将卡片贴于手、脚、屁股部位,可增加游戏的趣味性。

准备:单词闪卡 玩法:按照单词数选出同样数目的幼儿到台前来,教师发给他们一人一张闪卡,然后教师先任意选一张开始游戏,如教师说:“apple”,拿apple闪卡的幼儿就要“apple down, apple down , apple down then banana down”并做蹲的动作,接下来由banana做同样的动作并制定下一个蹲的幼儿。

Hello, everyone.Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas.My topic is life in the oceans taken from Leon 63 of Unit 16 in SEFC(2).It is made up of four parts.

Part 1 My understanding of this leon

The analysis of the teaching material:

This leon is a reading paage.It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit.Leon 62 and Leon 63 are a whole unit.By studying Leon 63, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about the sea and the life in the oceans.At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the paage better.The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too.Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education.Let the Ss understand the sea better, love the sea and save the sea and the life of the sea.

Understand the main idea of the text.

Retell the text in their own words.

Make the Ss love the life of the sea and do something to stop it being polluted.

The entire steps are:

Greetings, Revision, Lead-in and preparation for reading, Fast reading(scanning), Listening, Intensive reading, Preparation for details of the text, Consolidation, Discuion, Homework

Step 1 Greetings

Greet the whole cla as usual.

Step 2.Revision

1.Ask students some questions to revise the last leon(show them on the screen).

a.How much salt do the oceans contain per thousand parts of water?(35 parts of salt.3.5% by weight)

b.What is coral? Why are corals not found in deep water?

c.Why is the Dead Sea called the Dead Sea?

2.Check the homework(made a survey about the sea or sea life by surfing the Internet or asking for help from other people).Through this part we can consolidate what they studied yesterday, communicate with others about their survery results and prepare for the new leon.

Step 3.Lead-in and preparation for reading

Show them some pictures and let them talk each other, and then use the pictures about sea and life in the oceans to learn new words, for example, Antarctica, huge whale, sperm whale, squid and so on.

Purpose:
Arouse the students’ interest of study.

Bring in new subject:
Life in the oceans.

Step 4.Fast reading

Read the paage as quickly as they can.I show the questions on the screen and let them get the main idea of each paragraph:

Step 6.Intensive reading

Read the paage carefully again and answer some detailed questions on the screen.

3.How deep can a sperm whale dive?

It is also called depth reading or study reading.It means reading for detailed information.

Purpose:
Further understand the text (Train further reading ability) to find out some different sentences and details of the text.

Step 7.Preparation for details of the text on the screen

I want to know if my students understand the whole text really and if they master what I mean to tell them in this cla.What’s more, I want to let them have the ability of introducing and analyzing expreion.At the same time, I will write down the topic sentences on the blackboard according to what the students find, so they can retell it easily.

Step 9.Discuion

Show them some pictures about the polluted sea and many living things which are in danger and ask them:
What are their opinions about it? In order to let them have free choice, I give them another topic:
The sea is being polluted.What should they do?

Purpose:
I mean to give them emotional education.I give them multi-media pictures to arouse their interest of study and their love for life.I mean to make them realize:
The sea is in danger!

I teach them to do their best to help it and do something from now on.Everyone should do something to love and protect our home.

Step 10.Homework

Write an article Saving the sea.I want to improve the ability of their writing.At the same time, train the ability of do-it-yourself and looking up the information by themseleves.

关于做好2008年省内高校特困家庭毕业生求职补贴发放工作的通知

各高等学校:

按照山东省人民政府办公厅《关于做好特困家庭高校毕业生就业工作的通知》(鲁政办发[2008]21号)要求,现就做好2008年省内高校特困家庭毕业生求职补贴发放工作有关事项通知如下:

一、发放范围

求职补贴发放范围为符合城乡低保、零就业家庭、农村贫困家庭等特殊情况,就业有困难需要帮助的2008年省内高校山东生源应届毕业生(以下简称特困生)。其中,升学、出国、参军、指令性就业、暂无就业意愿的除外。

二、发放标准和原则

求职补贴按500元/人的标准发放,用于补贴特困生求职过程中发生的费用。

求职补贴申报和发放严格遵循诚实申请、公正受理、科学管理、公开透明、专款专用的原则。

三、申报办法

符合上述条件的特困生须向所在学校提交本人书面申请、生源所在县(市、区)民政部门核发的低保证或工会出具的《特困职工证》、扶贫办(部门)出具的特困证明及相关证明材料,并详细填写《山东省特困家庭高校毕业生求职补贴申请表》(以下简称《申请表》,见附件)。

特困生由所在学校确定,比例不得超过当年毕业生总数的5%。各学校要按照省教育厅、省财政厅《关于认真做好我省高等学校家庭经济困难学生认定工作的指导意见》(鲁教财字[2007]18号)认真做好初审工作。初审合格的特困生须采取适当方式在一定范围内公示。公示无异议后,以正式文件形式按非师范类和师范类分别报送省人事厅、省教育厅审核。其中2007年底非师范类毕业生生源审核时各学校申报并纳入省数据库的特困生可不再公示,本次审核确定后,只报送特困生名单(加盖学校公章)和《申请表》(从山东高校毕业生就业信息网下载)。

四、申报阶段时间安排

(一) 4月28日—5月7日,为申请、填表阶段。符合条件的特困生到所在高校毕业生就业工作部门提出申请,提交相关证明材料,并填写《申请表» (一式二份)。

(二) 5月8日—5月16日,为审核、公示阶段。各高校认真核查申请者相关材料,初审后在校内一定范围内公示。公示期为7天。

(三)5月23日前,为上报阶段。各高校务必在规定时间内报送相关材料。在报送时须出具正式文件(附特困生名单,按学号排序)和《申请表》,同时,各高校登陆“山东高校毕业生就业信息网”学校专区,使用“特困生管理”栏目的“求职补贴申报管理”功能,上报特困生数据。特困生的相关证明材料由学校妥善保管。

五、求职补贴的发放

省人事厅、省教育厅将各学校上报的特困生名单和《申请表》汇总后,确定发放求职补贴名单,制定发放方案。由省人事厅、省教育厅将补贴所需资金直接核拨至学校,由学校代发给特困生。

六、监督检查

各高校要高度重视求职补贴的发放工作,要明确专人负责,认真落实发放工作责任制。省人事厅、省教育厅将会同有关部门对各学校特困生相关证明材料和资金申报发放情况进行监督检查。对违反规定擅自扩大发放范围,或采取欺骗手段截留、挪用、挤占资金的,视情节轻重依法处理。
